The Cottages Retirement Communities provide maintenance-free patio homes designed to provide a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for seniors.

Our Story

The Cottages are locally owned and operated by Hilltop Community Resources, Inc. In business since 1950, Hilltop manages 24 community-based programs serving over 20,000 people annually. Hilltop’s mission is to, "provide leadership for community-based services that foster self-sufficiency and enrich quality of life." Hilltop’s community involvement is unprecedented in Mesa, Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties.

In 1994, in a response to the need for quality housing for our seniors , Hilltop partnered to build The Atrium, a retirement living community, and in 1999 built The Fountains and later The Commons providing the finest services for assisted living and meeting the community’s need for high quality senior living options.

Our reputation for hospitality, service and quality is well known in the community and is experienced daily by our residents. The Cottages extends a warm welcome to anyone interested in learning more about us.
